These are the 3D printed parts for a DIY door pull strap for your NC MX-5 Miata. This is a fun and easy DIY mod to give a little bit of a Porsche GT vibe. It also makes getting to the cup holder a little easier. Not only that, gives a little more room for your knee.
I have 2 versions of the plug for the hole in the arm rest. One is a solid plug for doing a hoop type of door pull. The other is a slotted plug for routing the strap into the hole and attaching it into the location the factory pull handle was attached on the inside of the door panel.
I don't believe these will work on an NC1. I don't have one to test with so keep that in mind before ordering.
This is ONLY the printed parts. The strap and hardware shown in the completed install are for reference only and not included.
The hole in the pull strap spacer and beauty washer are meant for an M6 screw. The spacer is a tight fit in the door panel but will press in with little effort.
The armrest plug is an add on and it is a tight snap in installation into the hole.

They are printed in black ABS.
To complete your door pull strap you will need 1 inch wide webbing of your favorite color and 2 M6x20 screws. If you go with fine thread you will have to use a little bit of force to get the fine threads of the machine screw to start to bight. But once they do everything will center itself up nicely.
The hardware I used in mine, the one shown in the examples, are T27 M6x20 burnt titanium and red webbing.
The orange webbing example uses the same hardware for the top of the strap but the bottom of the strap will be retained using the factory screw that was holding the original door handle on.
